Amazon Simple Workflow is a service designed to coordinate workflows made up of discrete tasks.

The new “Start SWF Workflow Execution” action will start a new execution of a workflow type in your SWF domain. It can be executed on a schedule, manually, or in response to SNS notifications. This will allow you to run your business workflows regularly and automatically.
